Based in Stokesley, the NRCFA aims to establish safe and structured football opportunities for the benefit of all concerned irrespective of age, colour, gender and disability. We also provide the appropriate structures and systems to enable the Association to control, manage, regulate and promote the game within the North Riding area. This enables us to assist with the development of the game at all levels, ensuring we are able to increase the quality and quantity of participation across the various sections of participation.
The North Riding County FA are committed to developing the game at all levels. In line with the Football Association’s National Game Strategy 2008-2012 the North Riding County FA produces an annual County Plan that sets out the key priorities, expenditure proposals and targets for delivering the National Game Strategy within the County.
To meet the demands of implementing the County Plan the Development team includes a Development Manager, Senior Football Development Officer, a Football Development Officer, two Women and Girl’s Development Officers, a Disability Football Development Officer, a Rural Football Development Officer, a Coach Education Coordinator, a Welfare Officer, a Referee’s Development Officer and a part time County Football Coach.
There is also a team of 4 FA Skills Coaches who work within the county.
